Therapeutic services
Referrals
You don’t need a referral to make an appointment. However, if you can bring a referral from your GP, it will allow you to access Medicare rebates.
There's a possibility for you to claim benefits from specific health insurance providers. When you inquire, please inform me about your provider.
I accept funding from various sources including Victims Services (NSW), DVA (Bupa Open Arms), and NDIS. This ensures that therapy is accessible to a wide range of individuals.
Getting started
We usually meet on two occasions to discuss your current situation, any difficulties, as well as your early life. We will explore what it may be like to work together, and an arrangement is mutually agreed on.
Typically, I see people weekly or more frequently for a 50-minute session, depending on what you wish to address; however, sometimes, people wish to get used to coming to therapy before increasing the frequency of our sessions.
Privacy
Privacy and confidentiality are essential to therapy. I will not share information about you without your consent. However, there are particular and very limited safety issues which might require us to discuss whether additional support would be needed - which we will highlight when discussing confidentiality ahead of meeting.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
